About XTL-s

ProMik XTL-s compact programming system

The XTL-s is ProMik’s compact semi-automated programming station, engineered for production lines where floor space is limited but production-grade programming throughput and traceability are still required. The XTL-s is the replacement product for the discontinued SAP2100-AUTO: same line-side programming and test capability in a compact footprint that fits where a full-size XTL-i cannot.

The XTL-s delivers the key benefits of line-side programming, eliminating offline programming stations, reducing work-in-progress inventory, and capturing complete traceability data, in a form factor that fits production environments where the larger XTL-i cannot be physically accommodated. Automatic read-back verification ensures every programmed board is validated, and FlashTask Pro provides the serial number tracking, pass/fail logging, and production reporting that automotive quality standards require.

For sites previously running the SAP2100-AUTO, the XTL-s is the direct migration path, same fixture and project-file architecture as the rest of the XTL family, with a smaller cabinet and the latest FlashTask Pro toolchain.

Contract electronics manufacturers, mid-volume production lines, and facilities transitioning from offline programming use the XTL-s as the practical step into automated line-side firmware programming. The shared project file architecture with the XTL-i (fully inline) and XTL-m (manual) means programming configurations developed on any ProMik platform transfer directly to the XTL-s without re-validation. This modularity lets manufacturers start with the XTL-s and scale to the XTL-i as volumes grow, or deploy both system types across different lines within the same facility.
