About PartQuest

PartQuest from Siemens EDA is a cloud-based component discovery, exploration, and consumption platform that connects electronic designers to over 600 million components with verified ECAD models and real-time supply chain intelligence. It addresses a persistent pain point in hardware design: finding the right component, confirming it is available and not end-of-life, obtaining a verified schematic symbol and PCB footprint, and consuming it into the design tool, all without leaving the design workflow. PartQuest integrates Supplyframe’s supply chain data to provide real-time visibility into component availability, pricing, lifecycle status, and risk alerts.
The platform provides interactive datasheets that go beyond static PDF documents, designers can compare parametric specifications across competing parts, view pin-level electrical characteristics, and use AI-powered Q&A to query datasheet content in natural language. Every component entry includes verified ECAD models (schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models) that can be consumed directly into Xpedition or PADS design environments, eliminating the manual model creation bottleneck that slows down new designs.
