About Binho Pulsar USB Host Adapter
The Binho Pulsar is a compact USB host adapter in a thumb-drive form factor, designed for embedded engineers who need portable protocol debugging without carrying bench equipment. Despite its size, the Pulsar delivers full I2C, SPI, and UART connectivity over a single USB-C interface, with 6 dedicated GPIO pins for target reset control, chip select toggling, and custom signal management. The Pulsar fits in a laptop bag and works identically across Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it the go-to tool for field debugging, customer site visits, and portable test setups where space and weight are constrained.

For firmware engineers working across multiple desks, labs, or customer locations, the Pulsar eliminates the need to pack and unpack larger instruments. Plug into any USB-C port, launch Mission Control 3 in a browser tab or as a native app, or run a Python script, and immediately begin reading I2C sensors, flashing SPI EEPROMs, or monitoring UART debug output. Mission Control 3 is free of charge for existing Pulsar customers after a firmware update applied via Mission Control 2.17.3, and it comes included with new units. The same SDK and software ecosystem that powers the Supernova works with the Pulsar, so test scripts developed on one instrument run unchanged on the other.
