RYBW Series

The REYAX RYBW Series combines Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n in a single compact module, providing the dual-connectivity architecture that IoT gateway and edge device applications require. BLE handles local communication with sensor nodes, wearables, and peripheral devices, while Wi-Fi provides the cloud uplink through existing wireless infrastructure. This dual-radio approach eliminates the cost and PCB area of integrating two separate modules for designs that need both short-range device communication and internet connectivity.

The RYBW Series supports concurrent BLE and Wi-Fi operation, enabling gateway functionality where the module simultaneously scans for BLE sensor advertisements and forwards aggregated data to a cloud platform over Wi-Fi. Station and Access Point modes can operate concurrently, allowing the module to connect to an existing Wi-Fi network while also hosting a local configuration network for initial device setup. AT command firmware over UART maintains the integration simplicity that characterizes the Reyax product line, requiring no RF stack development from the application team.

Smart home hubs, industrial IoT gateways, building automation controllers, health and fitness data aggregators, and retail point-of-interaction devices use the RYBW Series to bridge BLE sensor ecosystems to cloud platforms.
