Ethernet Debug and Remote Access

The built-in Ethernet interface sets the J-Link PRO apart from the USB-only J-Link models (within the family, only the PRO and the PRO PoE offer network debug). It enables remote debugging over the local network or VPN, allowing multiple developers to share a single probe connected to a target in a hardware lab. For continuous integration pipelines, the Ethernet interface allows automated test frameworks to flash, debug, and verify firmware on physical hardware without a USB connection to the build server, essential for hardware-in-the-loop testing at scale.

The integrated GDB Server accepts connections over both USB and Ethernet, providing a standard interface that works with every GDB-compatible IDE and debugger frontend.
