Overview
About Sensepeek SQG15 1.5 GHz High-Frequency Probe
The Sensepeek SQG15 is a 1.5 GHz passive 10:1 high-frequency probe designed for GHz-class signal integrity measurements on the PCBite hands-free platform. With 500-ohm probe tip impedance and just 1.36 pF tip capacitance, the SQG15 minimizes capacitive loading and signal distortion when probing high-speed serial interfaces, clock distribution networks, and RF circuits. The sub-190 ps rise time and flat frequency response (±0.5 dB from DC to 1.5 GHz) deliver accurate waveform capture at data rates exceeding 3 Gbps.

The SQG15 is available in two coupling variants: SQG15-DC for DC-coupled measurements where DC offset matters, and SQG15-AC for AC-coupled measurements that block DC bias and focus on signal transitions. Both variants output via SMA connector for direct connection to 50-ohm oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters. Dual ground options, a 2.3 mm dual-needle ground for PCB-mounted RF connectors and a 6.5 mm single ground spring for wider spacing, ensure clean ground contact in any board layout. The exchangeable fine-pitch spring-tipped test needle, probe holder, storage case, and replacement accessories are included.
