Overview
About Sensepeek SQG30 3 GHz High-Frequency Probe
The Sensepeek SQG30 is a 3 GHz passive 10:1 high-frequency probe that delivers sub-103 ps rise time and exceptionally low 0.35 pF probe tip capacitance, the lowest in the SQG series. Designed for 50-ohm instrument environments, the SQG30 captures signals at data rates up to 6 Gbps fundamental with flat frequency response across the full 3 GHz bandwidth. The 500-ohm probe tip impedance minimizes loading on high-impedance signal traces while maintaining signal fidelity for USB 3.0, PCIe, HDMI, and other multi-gigabit serial interfaces.

Available in AC-coupled (SQG30-AC) and DC-coupled (SQG30-DC) variants, the SQG30 outputs via SMA connector for direct connection to 50-ohm oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, receivers, and power meters. The AC-coupled variant is rated at 6.0 V AC RMS continuous input voltage. Dual ground options, a 2.3 mm dual-needle ground for PCB-mounted RF connectors and a 6.5 mm single ground spring for wider pin spacing, ensure clean ground reference in any board layout. The exchangeable fine-pitch spring-tipped test needle, probe holder, cable holders, storage case, dual ground needle, and single ground spring are included.
