Why the Kit

The I2C Development Kit’s value proposition is the dual-instrument workflow: the Aardvark actively drives I2C transactions (master or slave emulation, EEPROM programming, sensor register reads) while the Beagle simultaneously captures every bus transaction passively, including the Aardvark’s own traffic, the target device’s responses, and any bus errors or timing violations. This simultaneous active-plus-passive approach provides complete bus visibility that neither instrument can deliver alone.

The Activity Board’s pass-through pins are specifically designed for this dual-instrument setup, routing I2C/SPI signals from the Aardvark through to the target devices while providing tap points for the Beagle’s passive monitoring.

GSAS Micro Systems provides the I2C Development Kit with INR invoicing and applications support for I2C bus development teams across India. The kit is also the standard hardware package for GSAS-led I2C/SPI protocol training workshops.
