Two Arm Keil MDK Webinars This Summer: DevOps and Edge AI for Indian Cortex-M Teams

GSAS Editorial · · 4 min read

Arm is running two free, live Keil MDK webinars this summer, and both land squarely on problems Indian Cortex-M teams are working through right now: getting embedded firmware into modern CI/CD, and bringing machine learning onto bounded-memory microcontrollers. GSAS Micro Systems is Arm’s authorized partner in India for Arm development tools, and we are sharing both sessions so teams here can take guidance directly from the Arm Keil MDK product team.

DevOps with Arm Keil MDK, 23 June

The first session is a 30-minute walk-through of bringing modern DevOps practices to embedded firmware development with Arm Keil MDK, followed by live Q&A. The agenda covers why test automation is critical for success, the spectrum of testing from build tests to simulation to hardware-in-the-loop, driving realistic I/O into firmware-under-test with I/O abstraction, and the specific challenge of regression testing for DSP and ML algorithms where “correct” is a tolerance band rather than a bit-exact match.

For Cortex-M groups in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai standing up GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins pipelines around their MDK builds, this is a practical reference on what good looks like.

Integrating ModelNova Fusion Studio with Arm Keil MDK, 21 July

The second session, also 30 minutes plus Q&A, shows how ModelNova’s Fusion Studio integrates with Arm Keil MDK to streamline edge-AI workflows on Cortex-M microcontrollers and the Ethos-U microNPU. It covers what an MLOps system is, how to move from captured training data to an optimised model through the train, quantise, and optimise loop, how to understand and validate model KPIs such as accuracy, latency, memory footprint, and energy per inference, and how to validate ML models on-device with the Synchronous Data Stream framework and SEGGER SystemView.

Edge AI on Cortex-M and Ethos-U is the next frontier for Indian product teams in medical devices, industrial controllers, automotive ECUs, and smart consumer products, where the cloud-AI cost or latency model breaks down.

How to attend, and how GSAS can help

Both webinars are free and online. Registration is on the official Arm pages linked above. If your team is sizing a CI/CD investment around MDK, planning an edge-AI product on Cortex-M or Ethos-U, or has questions about Arm User-Based Licensing for parallel CI builds, talk to GSAS after the session and we will help you map it to your roadmap in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR.
