What is Xpedition EDM?

Xpedition EDM is Siemens EDA’s data management system for the Xpedition design environment, used here to manage HyperLynx simulation and verification data alongside PCB design data. It organizes that data as an engineering deliverable, with standard naming conventions, folder structures, verification and approval workflows, and reusable templates, rather than leaving analysis results scattered across individual engineers’ machines. Managing HyperLynx data inside Xpedition EDM this way builds a traceable digital thread between design and verification, and supports collaboration between PCB designers and SI/PI engineers.
