About Saleae Logic MSO 4×200

The Saleae Logic MSO 4×200 is the flagship of Saleae’s new mixed-signal oscilloscope line, 4 analog channels at 200 MHz bandwidth, 1.6 GS/s analog sampling, calculated rise time 1.75 ns, time base from 12.5 ns to unlimited (time resolution 0.625 ns). 8 digital channels at 1.2 GS/s on both Standard and Pro variants, expandable to 20 digital channels via Digital Probes (up to 5 probes supported, 4 digital channels each).

The Standard and Pro variants share the same hardware enclosure and bandwidth, the difference is the ADC. Standard runs 9-bit vertical resolution (32 µV per LSB) with 100 M sample points per channel of capture memory. Pro runs 12-bit vertical resolution (4 µV per LSB) with 1 billion sample points per channel of memory. The MSO 4×200 hosts over USB 3.0 (USB-A on the PC, USB-C smart cable to the pod) with a separate USB-C PD power adapter (20 V / 1.5 A, 30 W). Max input voltage is ±30 V at the SMB connector (derate at 20 dB/decade above 20 MHz) or ±300 V at the included 10:1 probe tip (derated above 5 MHz). The kit ships with analog probes, digital probes (expandable to 20 channels with additional Digital Probe orders), data and power cables, the 30 W USB-C adapter, and a carrying case, exact probe counts per shipment available on request.

The same Logic 2 software runs the MSO and the Logic family, 23 built-in protocol analyzers plus 50+ community-shared decoders (about 70+ in total), free across Windows, macOS, and Linux, Python Automation API for headless CI integration, and the HLA framework for custom decoders.
