About Saleae Wire Harness with Test Clips: 16-Channel Set
For Logic Pro 16 users probing fine-pitch SMD on a dense board, a wire harness with hook clips is the difference between an hour of solder-tag prep and a five-minute capture session. The Saleae set covers all 16 channels in four 4-channel harnesses, each with a 2x4 header on the analyzer end and labelled hook clips on the probe end. Most India teams order the full 4-harness set; individual channel-range harnesses are also available for spare-parts and bench-multiplier orders.
Why the set, not a single 16-channel harness
Saleae ships the 16 channels as four 4-channel harnesses so you can:
- Run a Logic 8 or Logic Pro 8 with one harness (channels 0–3 or 4–7), no wasted cable mass
- Stage two boards on adjacent benches with two harnesses each (8 channels apiece)
- Replace one damaged harness without buying a complete new set
- Hand off harnesses to colleagues without breaking the rest of your wiring
The trade-off vs a single moulded 16-channel harness is one extra 2x4 connector mate per channel group, negligible in practice.
