GSAS Micro Systems is now SEGGER Microcontroller’s authorized engineering partner in India. Starting June 2025, Indian engineering teams can buy the complete SEGGER embedded ecosystem, debug probes, production programmers, real-time operating systems, middleware stacks, and development tools, directly from GSAS with INR invoicing and local technical support.
This partnership brings SEGGER’s full product portfolio to India with local stock, application engineering, and hands-on training support across six offices.
Partnership Scope
GSAS is authorized to supply, support, and provide application engineering for SEGGER’s complete product portfolio in India. The engagement covers four primary product families:
Debug and Trace Probes: The J-Link family of JTAG/SWD debug probes, from the entry-level BASE Compact to the Ethernet-connected PRO and PRO PoE. The J-Trace streaming trace probes for instruction-level code coverage and profiling.
Production Programming: Flasher production programmers supporting microcontrollers, application processors, SoCs, FPGAs, and external SPI flash. Configurations range from standalone units for field service to the Flasher ATE2 eight-way gang programmer for high-volume manufacturing lines.
RTOS and Middleware: embOS real-time operating system in four editions (Classic, MPU, Ultra, and Safe with IEC 61508 SIL 3 / ISO 26262 ASIL D certification). The complete middleware stack: emNet (TCP/IP), emUSB (Device/Host), emFile (file system), emWin (GUI), emSSL/emSSH (TLS), emModbus, emMQTT, and the IoT Toolkit.
Development Tools: Embedded Studio cross-platform IDE with GCC and Clang/LLVM compilers for Arm and RISC-V. Ozone performance analyzer and debugger. SystemView real-time RTOS analysis. emApps application virtualization runtime, which won an innovation award at embedded world 2026.
What Indian Engineering Teams Get
INR invoicing on all SEGGER products. No international procurement cycles, no currency conversion overhead, no import duty surprises. Standard Indian commercial terms.
Local J-Link and Flasher stock for immediate dispatch. GSAS maintains inventory of the most commonly ordered debug probes and production programmers in India. Teams evaluating SEGGER tools or scaling production programming infrastructure do not need to wait for international shipping.
Application engineering. GSAS field application engineers assist with debug probe selection, embOS edition guidance, Flasher ATE integration for production lines, and safety certification consulting for teams building IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 compliant systems.
Evaluation and demo units. Probes, software evaluations, and hands-on lab setups available from six offices across India.
Volume licensing. Multi-seat Embedded Studio licenses, multi-product embOS and middleware bundles, and production Flasher deployments with volume pricing.
Technical Workshops
GSAS has conducted over 50 SEGGER technical workshops across automotive, industrial, medical, and consumer segments in India. These hands-on sessions cover J-Link debug workflows, embOS porting and configuration, Flasher production setup, and Embedded Studio project migration from competing IDEs.
emApps Innovation Award: Embedded World 2026
SEGGER’s emApps application virtualization technology won an innovation award at embedded world 2026 in Nuremberg. emApps enables sandboxed applications to run on embedded targets with hardware-level isolation, a significant development for IoT devices and industrial equipment where third-party application code must be isolated from the base firmware. GSAS supports emApps evaluation and deployment in India.
