In short
HyperLynx 2610, released by Siemens in October 2026, integrates HyperLynx analyses with Enterprise Data Management (EDM), adds DC Shared Return Analysis and a DC Metrics Viewer to power integrity, CUDIMM and CEI-112G-LINEAR-PAM4 support to signal integrity, Questa Sim support and a new Waveform Analyzer to AMS, and an AI Product Support Copilot.
Siemens announced HyperLynx 2610 on 26 October 2026, with changes across every product line: Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Schematic Analysis, Analog-Mixed Signal (AMS), DRC and the Advanced Solvers, plus integration with Enterprise Data Management (EDM). This post summarises each area from Siemens’ release article, linked under References.
The common thread is the same one running through Xpedition 2610 and Valor NPI 2610: analysis that is launched, tracked and reviewed inside the managed design environment rather than as a side activity. For what came in the previous release, see HyperLynx 2604.

Enterprise Data Management integration
HyperLynx 2610 integrates natively with Enterprise Data Management (EDM). Siemens’ Valor 2610 article places HyperLynx DRC, Schematic Analysis, SI and PI in the Xpedition EDM verification suite. Analyses can be launched and managed through structured data pipelines, in both integrated and standalone flows, so results stay traceable and shared across the engineering team.
Schematic Analysis
- Schematic Analysis in EDM, with an integrated flow for single-board projects and a standalone flow for single- and multi-board projects.
- A new Pin Treatment Wizard that speeds up schematic pin mapping and verification.
Design Rule Check
HyperLynx DRC 2610 adds rule analysis categorised by design area, so rule setup and execution can target specific layout domains. Siemens says this reduces false positives and lets engineers aim checks at particular manufacturing and signal integrity constraints.
Analog-Mixed Signal and DSE
- Questa Sim support. In addition to Questa ADMS, HyperLynx AMS now supports Siemens Questa Sim, which Siemens says enables faster simulation runs and expanded capabilities.
- HL-DSE integration improvements for exploring design trade-offs and variations. Our DSE explainer covers how that search works.
- A new Waveform Analyzer for inspecting analog and mixed-signal results.
Power Integrity
- AC analysis improvements in accuracy and modelling for complex power delivery networks.
- DC Shared Return Analysis, new in 2610, for insight into shared return paths and potential voltage drop issues.
- Better DC analysis reports and constraints.
- A DC Metrics Viewer for direct, interactive inspection of post-layout DC drop metrics.
- Power network and passive component model improvements that simplify component modelling and visualisation.

Signal Integrity: DDRx and serial links
| Area | New in 2610 |
|---|---|
| DDRx | CUDIMM support; SI Preview Wizard enhancements for pre-layout exploration; batch wizard improvements for full-interface simulation |
| SerDes | Generic 100G PAMn IBIS-AMI models; CEI-112G-LINEAR-PAM4 signaling; high-accuracy eye diagrams; compliance and IBIS-AMI wizard improvements; protocol additions and updates |
For memory interface background, see our DDR5 signal integrity guide.
Advanced Solvers
- Semi-automated SPICE extraction and S-parameter extraction flows for 3D and high-frequency electromagnetic analysis.
- Improved results management for tracking and comparing runs.
- Huygens Box export to FEKO, which hands electromagnetic fields from HyperLynx to FEKO for antenna and system-level placement analysis.
Product Support Copilot
HyperLynx 2610 integrates the Product Support Copilot, connected to the Siemens Fuse EDA AI System. It answers natural-language questions from the product documentation across HyperLynx SI/PI, Schematic Analysis, Advanced Solvers, DRC and AMS. Siemens’ aim is less time spent in manuals and a shorter learning curve for new users, which matters for teams onboarding engineers who are new to SI/PI.
